Our Story
It all began five years ago as a little jewelry side-hustle called Morning Sage Healing that allowed the portion from the proceeds to directly cover therapy costs for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse. The vision was to make a difference with using creative ability, the goal was to heal from within. What started as a small jewelry business turned into advocacy and a true mission behind the art. The mission of IamReadytoGrow.org is to empower survivors of abuse by providing compassionate and accessible advocacy tools to heal and grow. The website offers mental health resources for conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD with a dedicated resource page featuring online abuse assessment tests. The website also facilitates direct donations to support women in domestic violence shelters to foster community through art therapy classes such as making jewelry, vision board projects, and healing classes such as yoga and spirituality. The jewelry is still being made, and each hand crafted and unique design is available for purchase. The jewelry has been a symbol of hope, beauty, and resilience as it was the foundation of making this mission possible.
Meet The Artist
Katelyn Gallun, the founder of IamReadytoGrow.org, is a self-taught artist and survivor of abuse who transformed her pain into purpose. After over a decade of therapy, Katelyn emerged with a mission to make healing accessible for others.
She began with a simple yet powerful idea: crafting and selling clay earrings to fund therapy for herself and others unable to afford consistent psychotherapy.
While building IamReadytoGrow.org, Katelyn balanced a demanding life as a full-time student, caregiver, and member of the Wisconsin Army National Guard. Despite these responsibilities, her commitment to creating a platform for healing and support never wavered.
Five years later, Katelyn Galllun Jewelry has evolved into a beacon of hope. Katelyn now handcrafts stunning jewelry using semi-precious stones and expertly metalsmithed sterling silver, each piece reflecting her artistic growth and resilience.
Currently pursuing a Master’s in Behavioral Health, Katelyn is working to establish IamReadytoGrow.org as a nonprofit organization. Her vision is to partner with schools and communities to raise awareness about the signs of abuse and provide critical resources to survivors.
If you or someone you know has experienced abuse, know that you are not alone. IamReadytoGorw.org is here to support your journey toward healing and empowerment. You deserve to heal and thrive as the best version of yourself.
